Bald. Guitarist. Bearded. Christian. IT guy. In no particular order, although I rather enjoy the prospect of eliminating order altogether by combining them:
Hi! I’m Nick and somehow you’ve found this blog amongst the entirety of the rest of the The Internet (cat videos, fail blogs, Kardashians and all!) I truly appreciate your time and hope that you find my thoughts and opinions useful and life-enhancing in some way.
During the day I’m known as a Sales Engineer for Longleaf Systems. At night, you might find me trying to get a YouTube channel off the ground with my brother (Him Know Who) or playing with one of my older bands (Kindler & Wake of Redemption). On Sundays, you’ll find me singing in the choir or serving communion at St. Andrew’s Anglican in my hometown of Asheboro, North Carolina.
Having grown up Southern Baptist, I suspect my journey to the other side of the spectrum of Christianity might be interesting to some folk. And, as fate would have it, the journey is not over. Doing life with Taylor, who’s Christian walk has largely existed on points of the spectrum I haven’t explored, means that my wayfaring ways will continue. I am a big believer in unity and through prayer, study, and grace, I know we will find a spiritual home together.
It is written:
Romans 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
Along the way, I hope the stops on our journey provide you with some insight, some useful talking point, or maybe just a good laugh.
